Politics in my novels. July 8, 2024

With a U.S, Presidential Election coming this November, I will talk briefly about the politicians in The Covert Militia Campaigns. All of them are fictional characters, and I never mention whether they are Democrats or Republicans. That way, it can appeal to readers who support both parties, and it goes with my hope that one day, they will put aside their different ideals and work together in support of what they have in common. I do not see things as black and white or in this case blue and red, but right and wrong, and while I am not trying to incite arguments, but convicted criminals who instigated riots in the capital and did nothing to stop a pandemic, should not serve two nonconsecutive terms. That does not mean I am crazy about a stuttering old man who is not prepared for a debate, but he is not acting as a tyrant, who keeps destitute people from neighboring countries from finding a prosperous life away from drug cartels. I need to remind you almost a hundred years ago in Germany somebody named Adolf insulted people his followers wanted to hear insulted, saying it was in the name of Christianity, when he was only serving God nominally. Again, this does not mean I'm crazy about the incumbent president, who was busy and did not know about the Ukrainians launching nuclear missiles on the Russians, but the only reason their president did not try to realign the U.S.S.R. under the last president was because of the agreements he made with him after helping him get in the White House, that does not mean the current president did not rig the election either. What I'm most worried about in the upcoming election is losing social security and another pandemic that will shut down restaurants and movie theaters and I will not have something to look forward to all week again, and maybe it won't happen, we'll never know until November, and later January win the winner is inaugurated. Honestly, I really think they should let an independent candidate debate, but I doubt that would change things, but who knows.

Now that I said, everything I need to say, and if you are interested in reading my books written to appeal to both sides, Democrats and Republicans, conservatives and liberals, and the work of many other independent authors looking for readers, click on the link. Smaswhwords.com
