What MY Books Have To Do With Elections. November 4, 2024
I normally try to avoid politics in my books, but because tomorrow is Election Day, I have to say a few things about it. The presidents who have major rolls in my books are fictional characters, and I never say whether they are Republicans or Democrats. Even thought at the moment, The Covert Militia Campaigns take place in 1998, the president is made up for fictional purposes. I never try to make people who read it vote for the same candidate I do, because the message is voting is about making your own decision, and that if people would put aside their differences and concentrate on what they have in common there would be a lot less evil in this world.
