Megan 2.0 and Jurassic World: Rebirth July 8, 2025

Sorry, I had not blogged in a while, I've been on vacation, but now I can get back to work.

That said, I saw Megan 2.0 the night before I left for vacation, which like the first one I thought was OK. It was where the title character atoned for the bad things she did in the first one, and the girl she was protecting started protecting herself. It was similar to Terminator 2 in that vein, where Arnold was now the hero protecting John Conner from the T-1000.

In Jurassic World: Rebirth the parts with the dinosaurs were fun, especially the raft chase, which was based on a scene in Michael Crichton's original novel. The dinosaurs did look good, almost as good as in the original, but it got bewildering with the mutant hybrids. There was a nice Easter Egg, when it showed a bus that said, Crichton Middle School. In summary if they stuck to parts from the books that weren't used, or if the just stopped altogether, I would be fine.

That's all I got for now, and if you are interested in a good book to read, both novels in my series, The Covert Militia Campaigns are available at Smaswhords.com, and you can click on the link to find both of them and the work of many other independent authors. Smashwords.com
