Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny, a passable finale. July 2, 2023

Though The Last Crusade is still my favorite Indiana Jones movie, and it should have been the last one, The Dial of Destiny was a good enough ending. It was most fun, when it actually was an Indiana Jones movie. The opening fight with the Nazis on the train, was on par with the first trilogy. Mads Mikkelson and Boyd Hollbrook were fun villains. The only thing I could go without was the end when the Nazis sent Indy and company back in time to Ancient Rome. It was still entertaining, however, and I am glad I saw it. That said, the main reason is that series was an influence on my writing, and with me giving my latest book away in Smashwords's 15 Annual Summer Winter Sale, and if you are interested, click on the link. Smashwords.com
